What should I do if I’m running late?
We understand that things don’t always go according to plan. If you're running late and think you won't return the car on time, please extend your reservation in the app. It doesn't cost anything extra to extend; you'll only pay for the extended time and kilometers driven.
Why do we ask you to extend?
Extending your active reservation when you’re running late is beneficial for both you and other customers of Volvo On Demand. You will avoid any late charges, and fellow drivers will be able to start their upcoming reservation on time because our system will know to do some clever reshuffling.
What should I do if I can’t extend the reservation?
If you can’t extend the reservation in the app and think you will return the car late, please contact Customer Care using the Button, located above the rearview mirror inside the car, and we will help you.
What happens if I do return the car late?
According to our Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to charge a flat fee from 200 SEK, so we strongly encourage you to extend your reservation. If you more than an hour late, the fee is 500 SEK.
